Tony 'The Jaff' Ferreira: (sound design - bass - loops) If one were to speculate as to the most influential artists of our time they certainly would not name Tony Ferreira as one of them. Born into relative obscurity in what was formerly Canada's only borough he managed to remain unknown until 2028 when he was the leader of an armed resistance movement against the penguin overlords. A modestly talented bass player, composer and general noise maker he manages to pull together various styles while making as little sense of them as possible. Tony is a strong proponent of healthy living, and enjoys the occasional cigarette with his morning bourbon. Amanda 'Mandy-Tori' Lee: (spoken word vocals) Amanda Victoria Lee is a member of several world-renouned imaginary bands including 'Sam and the Irenes' as well as 'The Brett Ashleys'. Besides her immense vocal talent, she also excels at guitar, clarinet and interpretive dance. She joins Syntax Error both live and in the studio on a semi regular basis to contribute chilling spoken-word vocal monologues. Astra 'Littlestar' Ozols: (vocals) Astra Ozols is a classically trained vocalist, who appears on a number of Syntax Error tracks including "Blue" and "Floating Point". John 'Syndrome' Down: (percussion) John Down is a long time friend of Syntax Error, and contributes as a studio percussionist. |
